Mr Anselm O Agwunobi MB MD FRCS FRCS (General Surgery)
Mr Agwunobi is a Consultant General and Upper GI Surgeon and had been the Lead Upper GI Surgeon for Stockport NHS Foundation Trust for seven years where he led the development of complex minimally invasive surgery techniques for removal of gullet cancer (the first in the North West) with his colleagues. Over 90% of Mr Agwunobi's surgical practice consists of modern minimally invasive surgery techniques (laparoscopic or keyhole surgery) to treat a variety of conditions including obesity with good clinical outcomes.
